During the last 2 weeks I made it to a couple of shows
around town, and am currently looking forward
to a Hockney photo exhibit coming up next month.
All of which got me thinking about the connections
between these artists and my own life / art...

 1. My photo of Chris Burden's "Ode to Santos Dumont" at LACMA  3. While across town one of Picasso's women at the Norton Simon was deep in thought...  5. ...or Hockney's "Card Players" soon to be seen at LA Louver in Venice (California) |  4. ...perhaps about Cezanne's "Card Players" on loan from the Musée d'Orsay...  2. Just blocks from where we enjoyed Jonathan Richman's show at the El Rey  6. Which brings us full circle to another of my photos - an ode to the simple life in Burbank. |
