Although this year's drought has ironically brought me more garden design projects than ever before, I still managed to finally put together my alternate web site GardenScape Studio where I've gathered all my "garden" art in one place. Maybe some day I'll actually post pictures of the gardens themselves...
Ended the old year by visiting the Craft and Folk Art Museum yesterday to catch Clare Graham's jaw-dropping exhibit and was gleefully tickled when the docent mentioned that "photography is encouraged"... Well, you don't have to tell me twice! Here are a choice few of the 200 images I came away with - Panoramic overview from entrance. (Aluminum can wall mosaic, chaise and rug at right.) Show runs through Sunday, January 4.
I'm going to try to go again. I wanted to find a way to present a visual summation of 2014 and decided to assemble an art-themed gallery of 12 images that were meaningful, inspirational or otherwise memorable. One to represent each of the months from the year gone by...
